As I pull together my guestroom, bit by bit, I'm pondering an addition to the color palette.  I am still in love with the navy/kelly green scheme but it's veering dangerously close to stuffy/formal territory. I think it's time for something a little unexpected.

A shot of aqua or apricot would be so pretty and would add a little bit of lightness and energy to the other fabrics for this space.  I think a painted headboard is in my near future.
