I stopped by Old Navy and picked up this pretty Spring-time number:

Over the weekend I also dove into the May issue of Lonny Mag and fell in love with this wallpapered ceiling:

I love the drama that a wallpapered ceiling adds to a room. Who says ceilings can't be dressed up and adorned like our walls? So I went off in search of more wallpapered goodness and found everything from nurseries to office spaces to a Beverly Hills mansion.
You may recognize this image from the 2009 issue of Vogue feature on Kelly Wearstler's home. I love that the pattern isn't matched up. It's a little jarring and keeps your eye moving.

I love it in dining rooms..

The wallpapered ceiling in this office space uses a classic lattice pattern in a fresh, modern color. Who wouldn't love coming to work every day in a space that looked this pulled together? Sitting at a computer with a view through windows like those wouldn't be half bad either.

Sarah Richardson gives a baby boy something a million times more interesting than paint to look at by installing paisley wallpaper in this nursery ceiling.

Install the pattern on a 45-degree angle for even more drama (and neck pain!).

What do you think, would you put wallpaper on a ceiling in your home? Would you DIY it or bring in a professional?
