Checking In

Blogfest 2012 is over and while I'll be recapping the 3 days of inspiring events next week (with tons of pictures), I wanted to check in really quickly today.

In a nutshell Kravet did an absolutely incredible job with the logistics of getting 168 bloggers, many of us teetering on ridiculously high heels with questionable BAC levels, from event to event to event. They treated us with such hospitality and warmth. I can't say enough about how appreciative I am to have been able to attend and rub shoulders with some of my idols in design and publishing. I will definitely be back next year!



I made some amazing new friends that I'll definitely be keeping in touch with and got to meet some of my favorite bloggers who are just as sweet, funny and likeable in person as they are online. I also met Alexa Hampton (!!!!) and it turns out we have something else in common besides a love of design. All will be revealed in my Blogfest 2012 Recap starting on Monday.


I'm staying in the city until Friday night and the rain seems to have finally let up for the day so I'm off to do a little exploring. I effing love it here!

Friday Design Crush: Moth Design

If you've never heard of Erica at Moth Design, you are in for a treat! I could go on and on about how she has such great taste, a gorgeous home of her own to drool over, is the single mother of 5 (yes, FIVE) boys or the fact that she used to work with (gasp!) Sarah Richardson.

How about I shut up already and let her photos do the talking?

Now THIS is the bathtub that a mother of 5 boys deserves!!

And a perfectly girly, organized closet would be just the thing also!
