Working from home offers certain freedoms that you just don’t get when you’re working for someone else. Like waiting until after lunch to change out of your pajamas or not wearing makeup or spontaneously taking a 15-minute break to run around the backyard with your dogs. Ok, it's really not all fun and games. Actual work does get done and there are deadlines to be met after all.
Fortunately, Work-From-Homers also have the freedom to devise whatever kind of space their little hearts desire in which to do that work (buh-bye ugly, soul-sucking cubicle!). So why not take advantage of that freedom and put a little time and money into making your home office a place where you'd actually want to spend your entire day?

Make the space feel less “office-y” by accessorizing with non work-related art and accessories. Like this Jadeite Desk Set:
To tack up those incredibly important bits of paper, why not use THE most charming thumbtacks ever created?
And if you’ve got absolutely no choice but to venture out of your newly created haven of productivity, shouldn't you take your laptop with you? And shouldn't it travel in this?
