After suffering through what seemed like the longest, most unrelentingly hot summer in Phoenix, we are finally – finally being rewarded with the most amazing Fall-ish weather. The days are getting shorter, the air is crisper and sweater weather (say that three times fast!) is nearly upon us. Fellow Phoenicians, can I get a “Hallelujah!”?
Bet you didn't know our leaves change color too! Image Credit |
Aside from getting in the kitchen and baking up a storm, the best thing to do when it's good and nippy outside is to cozy up in a super cushy chair, crack open a good book and sip on a glass (or, if we’re really being honest here - three) of red wine.
Some chairs that practically beg to be curled up in on a frosty winter day:
Wing chair from Baker |
Marlo chair from Norwalk |
Montgomery chair from Norwalk |
Duke chair from Vanguard |
Havana chair from Vanguard |
The French chair from William Sonoma Home |
A splash of turquoise leather from Z Gallerie |
If you'd rather be baking than luxiuriating in one of these classic chairs, might I suggest you give this recipe a try? It's just the thing to make your whole house smell incredibly warm and cozy.
