Can I just say how much I enjoy being at home? Is "Stay At Home Mom to Four Dogs" a viable career path? Just kidding! Although I am really enjoying this bit of "down time" as I figure out my next move. My inner homebody is reveling in all this domesticity. It has given me the opportunity to slow down and work on a few projects I haven't had time or energy for in the past.
A sneak peek of what I've got in the works:
Yup, I'm dipping my toe into the "dropcloth as fabric" waters. This will also be the first non-pillow sewing I've ever done, so we'll see how this ottoman slipcover turns out.
If things get ugly, at least I've got a couple of faithful supporters cheering me on:

No matter what room I'm in, I always have my pair of shadows nearby. Abby will frequently curl up her lip when a camera is pointed in her direction. It's like she knows she's supposed to smile for the camera. Such a funny puppy!
