MyMemories Giveaway!

Calling all scrapbook enthusiasts and design software lovers everywhere!

Today's giveaway is courtesy of MyMemories.  MyMemories is a digital scrapbooking software that I think takes scrapbooking to a whole new level.  It definitely brings it into modern times. Instead of printing out pictures (with digital cameras, is anyone doing this anymore??), cutting them up, punching out little doodads to glue onto expensive paper....this software makes it all digital! 

For people like me who aren't especially crafty - this takes all the annoying cutting & pasting out of scrapbooking. 

I've tried it out and while I'm not a huge scrapbooker, if you are, you will really love how easy this is to use.  You can use their pre-made templates, which you can still customize, or even create your own. Upload photos from your computer, then play around with text and design elements until you are happy.  You can also share your albums online with family and friends.

I made this page in literally 10 minutes using one of MyMemories templates.  If I had spent more time I would jazz it up with animation and other add-ons.  If you have a family blog, this could be a fun way to share family photos.

MyMemories is not just for scrapbooking - I used it to create this little room board of vintage and high-end designer elements (can you tell which is which?) in no time at all. Typically I would use PowerPoint but this was just as easy to use so I'll be exploring all the neat options MyMemories offers aside from the scrapbook aspect.
