Wardrobe Dilemma!

After fighting some serious congestion and a brutal case of "feeling icky all over" I'm finally feeling like myself (the version who can breathe through her nose) again. Thanks for bearing with me during the silence here this week.

It struck me a couple of nights ago that BlogFest is just over two weeks away. I am unbelievably excited to get there, meet a bunch of really fabulous bloggers and trot around Manhattan in heels that sounded like a good idea when I put them on but after a few hours were clearly a horrible decision.

So it's getting to a critical point in the "Countdown to BlogFest 2012" - some very important decisions must be made. Mainly, what to wear day in and day out. I need outfits that are appropriate in a breakfast meeting as well as cocktail parties. The itinerary (jam-packed with incredible activities and cocktail parties!) doesn't appear to leave any time at all for running back to the hotel to shower and change so I'm in full-on planning to the very last detail of every outfit mode.

You may or may not know this about me - I am a relentless planner with a burning need to scope out new situations and settings as much as I possibly can beforehand. When going to a new restaurant, I'm not the type to just show up all casual-like and wing it.  Oh nuh, nuh, nuh, nuh, no, no, no. The day before I am on that website checking out the menu, narrowing the possibilities down to a few solid options (so that once I'm there I don't take forever to decide and then blurt out something random I really didn't want just to avoid holding up the entire table). Then, I'm reading reviews and looking for photos of the interior so I get a sense of the vibe, which I can then plan an outfit around!

I'm clearly a woman who likes to be prepared. Well in advance whenever at all possible.  This obsession with planning makes me a whiz at planning your interiors, coordinating with dozens of vendors/trades and managing multiple client projects at once.  But in my real life, it also turns me into a little bit (ok, a LOT) of a spazztastic worrywart. I worry over really important things (like what to wear to BlogFest) as well as pretty inconsequential things (like the current estate of Bethenny & Jason's marriage.Seriously, are you two going to be okay?).

What's keeping me up these nights is a simple burning question, "What is everyone else going to be wearing at BlogFest?".

Seriously, what is everyone going to be wearing at BlogFest????

I need to know and I need to know now.

Some of my thoughts:

What do you think? Am I on the right track here?  To my fellow BlogFest attendees are you struggling right along with me or can you offer any advice?

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!
