Happy, happy Friday gang! As you know from my earlier post, this week has brought some mighty big changes my way. You might think that finding myself newly unemployed would undoubtedly send me into a shame spiral consisting of entire days spent in my pajamas, wallowing in self-pity and gorging myself on Hot Pockets and chocolate frosting.
Well, so far I've been able to avoid the shame spiral.
I'm actually feeling...dare I say it? Happy.
Hopeful. Optimistic. Excited. Scared. Relieved.
Yes, happy.
So happy in fact that I was inspired for a new design direction for my guest bedroom. I've been racking my brain, trying like the devil to come up with a finished color palette for the room. I've played around with different schemes like the one here. While I still like that palette, it just never quite felt like me.
When I saw the final design that would become the new design for this blog, it just clicked. I was missing navy blue! Navy blue and emerald green with a touch of gold. Yes! Yes! Yes!
Now THIS is a palette that this girl can get excited about!
And THIS is the perfect cocktail for this Navy & Emerald scheme. Enjoy!
