Quick and Dirty Update - Just Like You Like It!

Happy Monday everyone - I hope you all had an exciting weekend.  Mine was super quiet and uneventful.  Although I did have good company, thanks to my sister's dogs Milly & Jim.  I spent the weekend house/dog sitting for my her and her family while they, like Phoenix-area-dwellers with any brains at all, headed up North to escape the hell we call "August".

I read an entry today by another blogger from a part of the country with four actual seasons, that started with "Summer is ending..".

Bite me sister.

So I didn't get a chance to make too much progress on the little project I teased with last time.  I still need to take some halfway decent photos which will no doubt require an entire hour on Picnik editing the hell out of them afterward.  I am really dying for a better camera - or at least a clue about how to get decent photos of of the one I already own!

Now I'm off to try out a new recipe I've thought up for dinner.  Eggplant Lasagna-ish Casserole Thingy.  I'm hoping it turns out as good as it looks in my mind.  I'll let you know.  At least there will be wine.
