Playing Hooky!

The boyfriend took today off so we're heading out to catch a movie and lunch together. It's rare that we have an entire day off together so I'm taking advantage and putting work aside for the day.  Whee!

We had originally planned to enjoy a Spring Training game but the storm that's moved in has made the prospect of sitting in 53-degree temps sound a little less than ideal.

My dreams of soaking up some sun while stuffing my face with mustard-drenched brats, garlic fries and beer were so rudely dashed by mother nature. I guess my legs and upper arms will have to stay white just a little bit longer.

As a consolation prize, maybe I can convince the boyfriend to stop off and check out the new antique mall that opened on our side of town.
