Weekend DIY Project Inspiration

It's been a mere TWO WEEKS since I finished painting my cocktail table. (thank you for all your sweet words by the way!)  Already, I'm feeling the itch to lose myself in some DIY goodness.  I've got several projects I've been meaning to do for a while.  Which one will I tackle this weekend?

Refinishing the sewing table I picked up at Goodwill several months ago?

Rewire the two amazing lamps I scored for 5 bucks each?

Make new cushion covers for the midcentury chair I bought nearly a year ago using this tutorial?

You'll have to wait and see!

Speaking of DIY, I've been pinning tons of project inspiration photos on Pinterest.  Which by the way, is nothing but pure evil!  You see, I have a monkey on my back and it's name is Pinterest.   I only wish I had thought of it first.

You can buy these glamorous paintings from Cocoa & Hearts but if you have a little artistic talent, you could probably recreate a similar look at home.

You know those sailor's knot doorstops you see everywhere?  The ones that can retail for $50 and up?   Save a little dough and make one yourself for a fraction of the price like they did over at Design Sponge.  Genius!

Finally, a little DIY for your tresses.  Now that my hair is finally long again, I need to figure out something other than a ponytail for keeping it out of my face.  This list of hair tutorials from Cup of Jo should do the trick!
